to commemorate the change of company name and
the relocation of
Pilot
headquarters in 1989 (Heisei 1st), 31 years ago.
Distributed to only/mainly the parties concerned.
Created by Master Maki-e artist KYUSAI YOSHIDA, one of the most famous Maki-e artist in Japan.
Comes with the original package: the fountain pen, a converter, one cartridge, two papers, a written guarantee, the wooden box and the outer cardboard box.
A serial number is usually stamped on the nib of Pilot pens. On the other hand, "H1.10.1" was stamped on the nib of this "HouSouGe" pen.
Here, "H1" shows the year of Heisei 1st (1989 year) which is the year of company name change and t
he relocation of Pilot headquarters. Then, "10.1" shows 1st, October which is Pilot anniversary of the founding. There is no stamp of this kind for other Pilot fountain pens as far as I know.
