    Description

    Offered for your consideration is a vintage Dunhill fountain pen and retractable ballpoint pen set which was received as a gift in 1980.  It comes in its original box with its guarantee booklet.  I believe the pens are silverplate because there is not a sterling mark anywhere.  The clasp and ends were tarnished and have been polished.
    The fountain pen has a 14k gold 585 nib.
    One end had a round gold label (please refer to last photograph) with the initial "F" on it which fell off.  It may refer to the nib size "fine" but I am not positive of this.
    The ink cartridge is empty. On the lower half exterior, when held at a certain angle, there is a small oval area (please refer to 6th photograph) where a label once was. One end had a round gold label (please refer to last photograph) with the initial "F" on it which fell off.  It may refer to the nib size "fine" but I am not positive of this.  No cracks or dents. Minor use marks.
    The retractable pen writes in blue ink and retracts properly. I do not know if it is a ballpoint or rollerball.
    The refill is a Dunhill.

    It comes with its original guarantee booklet which has a 9-5-80 date and a person's first name both written in ink on top page.
    The brown plastic case is in very good condition free of any cracks and chips.  It opens/closes properly.
